Allie Rushing '24 Recruiting Profile

I’ve been voted ”Team Captain” by my peers and coaches.  I’m a selfless player that puts the ”Team” first and WILL go to war for my team.

I would love to be able to obtain an Undergraduate degree while making a significant contribution to the school, it’s athletic program and the local community. 

Volleyball has been a huge driving force in my life - the greatest of life-long friendships have been forged and will be forever kept near and dear to me.  Some of the people in life that I‘ve most wanted to emulate have been Coaches and Teachers.  As such, I have considered teaching/coaching as a profession but keep my options open for my major.  

As a Six-Rotation-Hitter, I will, and do, work my tail off to get better at every aspect of my craft every time I step on the court, but there is always room for improvement.   My favorite saying is; "Hard work beats talent when talent doesn't work hard".   I'm a very hard worker!
