Taia Humphrey '23 Recruiting Profile

My name is Taia Humphrey, and I'm a volleyball player to  the core! My aspirations in life is to be happy and successful. My volleyball aspiration is to compete at college level. I will be a good college level volleyball player because of my deep passion for the game and continuous strive to excellence. I take constructive directions from the coach, and try at each interval to achieve the coach's vision. I keep a positive attitude no matter the outcome of a game because I try my hardest and I know my teammates do also. The differences  I bring to a team verses other candidates are my character, athletic abilities and academics. My character shows in my desire to succeed not only for myself , but for my team. My athletic abilities are built around my natural instinct of sensing where the ball is and the  years of  hard work and training. Not only do I work hard on the court, I also work hard in the classroom, especially in my favorite subjects, Physics and U.S. History.
