Alyssa Williams-Whitaker '21 Recruiting Profile

Dear Coaches,

My name is Alyssa Whitaker, and my dream is to be a collegiate volleyball player.  I have been playing club volleyball since I was seven years old.  Two years with West Texas Oilers out of Big Spring, Texas, three years with Fairfield Elite Volleyball out of Fairfield, Texas, one year with XCEL volleyball out of Leon, Texas, and five previous years with NHVBC out of Fairfield, Texas.  I played Varsity volleyball for Fairfield High School, and I was the starting outside hitter.  I love the game, and I have learned how to set goals, and conquer them.  Volleyball has become my passion, and the thought of not playing in college will crush me.  While volleyball is very important to me, it has inspired me to work harder at my studies, and to work very hard at bringing my G.P.A up to a 3.0 or higher.  My goals in the future are to play four years of volleyball, while obtaining a 3.5 or higher in college.  I have learned to be a leader, and helper on my team, and I grow daily with every practice and game I get to play in.
