Eliana Mata '23 Recruiting Profile

Hi my name is Eliana Mata. I have played volleyball since I was in the third grade. I have played club volleyball since the age of ten. The game of volleyball has always been my stress reliever. Once I step foot on the court, I think of nothing else but volleyball. I am a coachable athlete and I use constructive criticism to make myself better. I am passionate and determined to always do my best and be the best on and off the court. I am a student-athlete that is involved in volleyball,basketball, and softball. I have always been told by my parents to not only strive in sports, but to the best student. As a sophomore I have challenged myself to take college classes, by the end of the year I will have seven college hours. My college desires are to major and get a degree in political science. I then want to further my education and become a lawyer. I also want to take my knowledge and skills of volleyball to the collegiate level.
