Hello, my name is Lexi Banks. I am primarily a MI but also stand out defensively. I live in Blooming Grove, TX and attend Frost High School. I began playing volleyball in little leagues around the age of 9 and then started playing with my school in 7th grade. However, my passion for the game did not occur until the first day of two-a-days my freshman year of high school. Volleyball became a release, it gave me a place where I could be an example, not only athletically but as a person.
My goal is to compete on the collegiate level while earning a nursing degree. I know, with no doubt, that I would be a great asset to your team because when I play I have a radiant energy that encourages my teammates. I love to always motivate my teammates when things are not going their way, just as I hope they would do for me. I am a team player through and through.
During high school, I competed in 6 different varsity level sports, while maintaining a 4.0 GPA each year and involving myself in many clubs and organizations. I must admit that it has been difficult to be so highly involved in everything, but it’s work that I’m willing to put in. There will be days where I leave my house at 5:30 a.m. for cross country practice and get home at 7 p.m. after volleyball and cheer practice. However, I still put my all into everything I do, I do not let it affect my effort or coachibilty in each sport.
