My name is Annie Jane Cathey. My parents named me after Annie Oakley and Calamity Jane. I love competing at anything! As kids me and my younger sister would compete at everything from racing to the dinner table, to who gets in bed first, to who can do the most sit-ups and push-ups. I learned to adapt to change by attending seven different schools by the 6th grade. I also learned how to make new friends!! Academically, I attended and completed a rigorous jr high science magnet program that taught me a lot about the important of time management. I started playing club volleyball at 11yo. I'm also a track athlete and do pole vault, high jump, triple jump, long jump, 100 and 200. I play some sand volleyball as well. I love playing sports, especially volleyball. It's how I de-stress, and I just love working out and being athletic! Being a crossfit champion might be in my future! I would love the opportunity to continue playing volleyball in college. I want to major in either human or animal science. My long term goal is to marry a rancher, be a trophy wife, and fly planes. Can't wait to meet you!
