Gracyn Reed '22 Recruiting Profile

My goal is to play volleyball at the highest level possible. I want to compete against the best! As a multi-sport athlete, playing volleyball and running track, I am highly competitive. I’ve played varsity since my freshman season, and as a sophomore and junior my high school team competed at the 4-A Texas State Tournament. Over the last three years I have grown in confidence and as a leader on the court. I never want anyone to outwork me and that pushes me to always be working harder. I am a team player and understand that as a setter I should set the tone on the court and motivate the team as well as make sure everyone knows their role. Sports are important to me, but so is school. I currently have a 4.117 gpa after my sophomore year and I am taking all pre-ap or AP core classes. I push myself in everything I do and I’m never satisfied with good enough. There is always room for improvement and I’m always working to get better.
