Jena Jobb '24 Recruiting Profile

Allow me to introduce myself. I'm Jena  Jobb and currently a senior at La Grange High School in La Grange, Texas. I have a strong love and compassion for the game of volleyball. I am a leader on and off the court, and am dedicated to becoming the best student athlete I can be. I have high intensity and drive to create positivity on the court among my teammates as well as being athletic.

On the court I am now a third year letterman and achieved All Academic District Honors, and this past year, my Junior Year I was recognized as 2022 District MVP Defensive Player of the year for District 22-4A. I also qualified for the Texas Girls Coaches Association as a 2023 All Star Alternate. I am now on the watchlist for the AVCA All American watchlist!!

I want to excel and further my volleyball play as a collegiate athlete and continue down paths of where others in my family have been and experienced. I have several cousins who played at collegiate levels and one who stills plays collegiate volleyball. 

My field of study I'm interested in is Kinesiology, and or athletic science. My hope is to become an athletic trainer.

I love to connect with my La Grange community. In La Grange, I help coach a little hitters volleyball team and enjoy teaching the girls the game. I am a part of the Rotary Interact Club and CREW, a church group that helps volunteer around the community. In my free time I like to take pictures of sports, play pickle ball with my friends, and just be me.
