Alyssa is a gifted and dedicated athlete who enjoys sports and competition. She takes all aspects of being a top athlete seriously and works diligently both on and off the court. She has taken an unique athletic path through middle school and high school. With the help of excellent coaches, Alyssa has been able to pay both basketball and volleyball at a highly competitive level. In order to keep her grades and her health the priority, she has made some sacrifices. Opting out of high school volleyball was necessary in order to compete on the varsity basketball team who made it to the state finals her freshman year, and has continued to move through the majority of state playoffs the following years. Since the demands of club volleyball are nearly year round in addition to a competitive basketball schedule, taking off a few months in the fall became necessary. Recently she was honored with a membership to the National Honor Society. She is a respected leader whose drive to succeed and positive personality is exceptional. In her free time Alyssa works as part of the entertainment team for the Frisco Rough Riders baseball club, babysits, and enjoys movies and shopping. Alyssa is undecided on a college major at this time.
