Emerson Dudley '25 Recruiting Profile

Hi Coaches, 

My name is Emerson Dudley and I am currently a high school sophomore with big dreams to play collegiate volleyball! My most valuable attribute as a player is my ability to be coached.  It is important to me to be a positive voice on the court and to encourage my teammates, even during the most difficult matches. I am a defensive specialist and love the hidden force behind a valuable backrow player. I don't desire or need the spotlight, but seek to support my team with a quiet consistent performance on the backrow.

I have been playing club volleyball since 6th grade and have competed on the Elite travel team the past 2 years. I intend to continue playing club ball throughout my high school career as I believe it has greatly built my confidence as an athlete as well as strengthened my abilities on the court. 

I am primarily interested in Texas schools, but would consider an out of state school if the opportunity were fitting.  I have not firmly determined my choice for major or career path, however, I am currently interested in forensic science. 

My main goal as an athlete is to play at the collegiate level and to make a positive impact on my team. Volleyball is my passion and I am constantly striving to become the best player and teammate I can be.
