Semira Kidane '19 Recruiting Profile

My name is Semira Kidane and I am a 2019 Senior at North Mesquite High School. I I am very excited about the next level education as well as pursuing my love of playing volleyball. I  currently have a 3.563 GPA and ranked in the top 6% of my senior class. I have a 1210 SAT score as well as a 24 on the ACT.  I plan on majoring in psychology for my undergraduate studies but would like to continue my education to receive my Doctorate in Clinical Psychology. My volleyball career so far has allowed me the opportunity to play all positions but my main positions are setter and Defensive specialist. I am also a very strong front-row player and can play an outside/right side hitter when needed. I am currently a varsity starter at North Mesquite High School in Mesquite, Texas under Head Coach April Holman. I am the setter at DFW Elite on the 18s National team under Coach Kimberly Sherman. I am extremely excited of the journey that is before me and I look forward to the challenges of playing on a collegiate level brings.
