I became interested in volleyball when I was 10 because my family played and coached it. Playing for my middle school team in 7th grade was exciting, but I had to work on my serving skills. Despite facing setbacks, I stayed positive and joined a club team later on. I kept trying out and eventually made it onto club and high school teams. Along the way, I realized I'm not just a leader on the court but also off it, as my friends trust me with personal stuff. Seeing my sister's challenges at birth and my family's struggles, including those of military veterans, made me want to become a psychotherapist. My goal now is to excel in school, join organizations like the National Honor Society and Student Council, and bring my leadership, determination, loyalty, and passion to everything I do.
