Madeline Garrett '25 Recruiting Profile

Hello! My name is Maddie Garrett and currently (2023/2024) I'm a Junior at Birdville High School in North Richland Hills, Texas. I'm a setter for our varsity team and can also play DS. For as long as I've been playing volleyball it's been my dream and now my goal to play in college. I truly love the actual strategy and of course the physical component of the game, and always look forward to our practice and training days at school.  Academic wise I love anything about English and have decided to major in sport medicine in college. I'm also involved in Birdville "buddies" which is a program at my school that provides assistance, guidance and a friendly face to the students that are attending special ed classes. 

Personally have 3 older siblings and my two older sisters played volleyball in high school and for club teams, so I've been around Volleyball since I was a toddler.  I'm pretty driven and a strong listener who enjoys competition and everything about volleyball, not just the physical game but the mental one as well. One of the biggest lessons (so far) that I have in sports is that no matter what happens if you are prepared and trust in yourself, that faith will always guide you to greatness!
