McKenna Ramsey '21 Recruiting Profile

I have played volleyball since I was 10 years old. It quickly became my favorite sport I've ever played and is the only sport I've played since. Making Varsity as a freshman and starting is one of my biggest accomplishments in my career so far,and winning our division at nationals was an added bonus! Making JV as an 8th grader definitely helped me to be better prepared for Varsity. But I had to dramatically improve my mental toughness.  I have played every position on the court and find it very easy to transition into whatever position I'm needed in. Last school season my team made some program history being top 10 at state and 5th in the nation (something I'm still extremely proud of)! I'm currently playing on an 18's team for GUVC and it has already improved my skills and volleyball IQ so I look forward to seeing what the rest of the season will bring!
