Hello, I am Elizabeth Torbett. Thank you for looking at my profile. I started playing volleyball in seventh grade with my home school association team. In 2016, I avidly watched volleyball during the summer Olympics and it lit a fire in my heart. In ninth grade, my coach noticed my passion and really started working with me and developed my volleyball skills and I grew in confidence and ability. I started going to volleyball camps at Angelo State University, doing more physical training, playing sand volleyball with friends at the college campus, started following volleyball players and coaches on social media and found myself improving. I started playing with Angelo Elite Volleyball Club in my sophomore year of high school which really helped my game. I am now enrolled in Texas Leadership Charter Academy to finish high school. I work hard, I don't give up, I am teachable, respectful and listen to advice. I encourage my teammates and bring a happy energy to the team and court. I don't take a mistake into the next play, rather I learn, shake it off and move on. I want to play volleyball in college and am willing to put in the work to get there. Thank you for your consideration.
