Khyleen Price '23 Recruiting Profile

My name is Khyleen Price but most people call me "Khy" and I am a 2023 5'6 Libero from San Antonio, Texas. I currently have a 3.87 GPA and I plan to take both the SAT and ACT in the coming months. 

I attend Alamo Heights High School where I take 3 AP classes, am in NSHS, I am on the soccer team, and of course I am on the volleyball team and I am actively participating in the off-season workouts.

 I am looking to take my volleyball skills to the next level and play at the collegiate level whether that be Division 1,2,3 or NAIA. 

I have some skills that many other liberos may not have in their tool kit. I love to use my hands in out of system situations so that the offense is always ran at a fast pace. I have a fast and low serve and I love to take hitters out of their attack pattern by serving hard. As far as defense goes, I work my hardest to never let a ball drop, if I think in the slightest that I can get to a ball I will go and get it, even if that means diving into chairs and tables. I am working on getting faster and being more agile, as that is where I believe I struggle the most. 

A lot of people have complemented me on my attitude and encouragement on and off the court. No matter the score, I always try to have the best attitude and encourage my teammates. I love when people come up to me after games and tell me that they enjoyed watching me play and that they notice a difference when i'm on the court. 

Some fun facts about me are: I am bilingual and can speak English and Spanish, I want to be a politician or work for the government, my sister played college volleyball at Texas A&M and OLLU, and I love to ride my bike outside and connect with nature.
