Hi Coaches!

My name is Alessandra Aguirre and I am a rising Junior at Great Hills Western Hills in Texas. I first started playing volleyball at the age of 13 and have grown to love the sport. In the short time that I have been playing, my knowledge for the sport has grown and I have also learned a lot about myself. I am a very hard worker and I am always looking for ways to improve. I know that my coachability and positivity are important aspects to volleyball. I take the advice that coaches give me and apply it to the game. This way I can learn from my mistakes and improve. There is always something new to learn in volleyball and I am willing to learn and improve to become the best player possible. I am a leader on the court and love being social with both my coaches and teammates. When it comes to my academics, I am a hard working student and love to be involved in my school community. My goal is to work in the medical field. I have grown up in a military family and have moved six times, which I believe has helped develop my work ethic and my ability to work well with coaches, teammates, teachers and peers.
