Currently, I am a senior at Stephenville High School with hopes of playing college volleyball and pursuing a degree in Kinesiology /Sports Science. I am an OH, MB, and DS for both my high school and club teams. Outside of school, I have played just about every sport from rec, select basketball, and club volleyball. People have always asked me what my favorite sport is, and I could never say until the past 3 years when I started high school. Club volleyball, an amazing high school coach, and going to watch college volleyball games helped me to discover my true passion. Although I still play many sports, I have decided that volleyball is what I want to pursue after I graduate in 2022. I have been a varsity letterman in every sport I have chosen to play (volleyball, basketball, and track) since my freshman year. I have received many honors in each sport I have played, including 3 consecutive District MVP recognitions, All Tournament awards, and maintained a strong academic record along the way. I have been a team captain for my club team and learned that being part of a team and being a leader on and off the court is something I want to continue. I try to always keep a positive attitude and was given the nickname "Smiley" years ago by a club coach. I am not much of a talker at first, but after I develop a relationship with coaches and teammates, I am the person that jokes and laughs and tries to keep the environment enjoyable. I don't know what my future holds, but I hope college volleyball is in the plans.
