I am a Seniorr at Vidor High School. I have spent my volleyball career as libero/DS , however, this year my team needed to fill the spot of an additional setter, so I stepped up to the challenge. It has been eventful so far, as well as a learning experience, but I feel I have grown in my knowledge of the game. I have also played club volleyball for the past 6 years. I was previously with HCJ, but the owner sold to another volleyball team so I decided to focus on my school volleyball team and be the leader that they deserve. I love the sport of volleyball. I am a hard worker, team player, leader and “cheerleader” for my teammates. I would be a great candidate for any college not only with those attributes but, I am also very versatile in playing different positions. I have played setter, libero, and have been the defensive specialist. Playing various positions enables me to play anywhere, at any time. I have maintained all A’s with the exception of a few B’s academically. My goal is to become a pediatrician or pediatric surgeon. My parents have always told me, and I honestly believe, that no dream is too big!! I would love and have dreamt of playing college volleyball and I am so excited to be starting my journey.
