Hi, my name is Aubrie Jefferson. I have been playing volleyball since I was in 6th grade and travel volleyball since 7th grade. I have been a starter for my varsity high school team all four years as an outside hitter. I am also a primary passer and specialize in defense. I am very good at serving. I hit outside, defense, and opposite through rotation. I love learning new skills from my coaches every year and strive to be the best I can be. I prefer to play outside, but I am happy to play wherever I am needed.
I have also been playing beach volleyball since 7th grade. I really enjoy playing beach volleyball because it helps me in many ways for indoor volleyball. The sand adds an extra challenge, which in turn helps increase my vertical jump, stamina, and defensive ability. By playing beach volleyball I have become a better indoor player. I really enjoy competing in tournaments. I plan to continue playing both sports through high school.
I am very coachable and have been very fortunate to have coaches that recognize my athleticism and who push me to play at a challenging, competitive level. I am very athletic and competitive. I have good ball handling skills which allows me to be a versatile player in multiple positions. I will always be a team player, lead by example, and always give 100% effort. I want to play in a competitive division where I can build my skills and pursue my academic interests. My current interests are health sciences and physical therapy.
