I would love to play volleyball in college!! I haven’t decided whether or not I want to major in Law, Medicine, or Social Work yet, but I know I need to go to a college with those options for majors available. When considering me, I think I would be a good candidate for your team because I am open to different learning styles, conditioning, am a fast learner and do my best to encourage others both on and off the court. I am a good sport and respect everyone as best I can and am also really resilient. When I do put in the work, I work hard. I personally care more about having fun than winning matches, but that doesn’t mean I won’t work hard to do my best on the court. Of course it feels good to win - but as long as I did my best and had fun, I really think that’s all that matters!!
I also wanted to clarify the 1.5 GPA - I did not have a good freshman year (GPA was 0.66), but I brought credits up from 8th grade that brought it to a 1.465. I have done school through an alternative school for my sophomore and junior year that does P/F (pass/fail), so my GPA cannot change on my transcript unless I go back to regular high school, which I am doing my senior year! I will send along transcripts from my two years at an alternative program with percentages to translate into a GPA if requested!
