Kamryn Conners '23 Recruiting Profile

Hi, I'm Kam! I have been playing volleyball for 8 years for both school and club volleyball. I am currently a senior in high school and have just completed my 3rd year of being on the varsity team at Wheeling Central Catholic High School. I truly just love the game, want to keep playing after high school, and am open to all possibilities of colleges.  Right now, I am interested in pursuing a career in Exercise Science/PT, and I am looking for a school that would push me both athletically and academically. What makes me different from other athletes is that I am a student of the game, both on and off the court, as I take conditioning, exercising, and my health very seriously. I also understand the importance of not only hitting the ball but also placing the ball and reading the other team. On the court, I have worked diligently to be a well-rounded player, as I am comfortable playing as an outside hitter, opposite hitter, or defensive specialist. Off of the court, I value academics, as I am at the top of my class, am in many honors and college classes, and have a 4.41 weighted GPA (4.0 unweighted). I feel I would be a great asset to a college team because I am humble, driven, a team player, a leader, and have a great passion for the game.
