In sixth grade 2018, I stopped running in cross country to play volleyball. I started playing at 11 years old. This year 2021, I'm a sophomore at Chilton Public Highschool. I played on JV for volleyball this year and I was spinner for JV. If you don't know what a spinner is it means I played the whole time in every game. Mid season I got moved up to play on varsity to play outside. During our regional game against Notre Dame I played all around. I play two other sports such as basketball and track and field. Playing volleyball for 3 years I've learned that volleyball is a team sport. Everybody you see on your court is your teammate and your job is to keep their heads up and yours too. I played softball when I was younger in middle school. My softball coach always told me to have a short memory because as a pitcher you needed to stay strong and move on to the next pitch. I've brought that quote with me through every sport I play now.
