My name is Lauren Grier and I am a 2023 middle blocker from Fond du Lac, WI. I started playing volleyball when I was 9 years old. My love for the sport and my desire to push myself and compete at the highest level has continued to grow every year. Being the only Freshman on the Varsity team among a team of many leaders gave me the opportunity to shine and influence the team in a different way. Even though I was young, I was able to lead the team by lifting people up, making them laugh, and always bringing energy on and off the court.
A big goal of mine, since I was young, is to play volleyball in college. I love being part of a team and being the best teammate I can be. I'm a determined player who asks for and accepts feedback. I keep a good mindset, always looking for how I can positively influence the game. By playing volleyball, I have learned that I am incredibly competitive and love to win. I love to see our team improve and enjoy pushing myself and my teammates to be the best.
Off the court, I love participating in track, especially high jump. I like spending quality time with my friends and family and playing with my two German Shepherd rescue dogs.
My collegiate goal is to play volleyball for an amazing school and earn my degree in Real Estate and Business. I believe my attitude, work ethic, and personality would uplift any team I'm a part of.
