One of the reasons I got involved in volleyball is because my mom played it in college and I want to follow in her footsteps. I attended volleyball camps when I was little and when I got to 7th grade, that's when I knew I truly loved the sport. I started out playing middle in middle school and played it my freshman year on JV. The school season in 2020 I played right side on Varsity. 2020-2021 club season I transitioned to outside and started playing all around. This makes me experienced in all positions on the court. By playing volleyball, I have learned that I am very competitive and love to win. Throughout the years of playing volleyball, I have become a lot more talkative and better at picking up my teammates when they are down. I always cheer as loud as I can and get excited when my team gets a point. I'm always a happy person and never get down on myself or get angry and I think that's what makes me different than other players. In summer I always play sand volleyball with my friend, who I have played with for many years. I love playing sand volleyball because I know it will make me better by getting quicker and jumping higher. My collegiate goals are to play volleyball for an amazing school and graduate with a nursing degree. Outside of volleyball, I enjoy going camping with my family, snowboarding and spending quality time with family.
