My biggest achievement in volleyball so far is making it to the state tournament. We won the first game, but in the championship game we lost. This loss taught me alot about myself. It showed me the things I will need to do to become a better middle and outside.
In addition to volleyball I am a very good student. Education is very important to me and succeeding in school as well as volleyball is something that I hold myself accountable for. With school and volleyball I have similar qualities such as being a leader and maintaining a good attitude. On my school team I realized that having a positive attitude will help you a lot. If you can make a mistake and shake it off or help someone get out of their own head by cheering them up then you've done as best as you could.
My coach always tells us "you're either giving people energy or you're taking it away," and I have always lived by this rule by having a positive attitude and helping others out. I also was a type of leader on this team because of how I kept giving people energy. I would bring everybody together and this truly helped us go to state because we had team chemistry. We were all like sisters and wanted to see each other succeed. I am looking for a team that shares similar values as I do.
All I want to say is that I truly love this sport and I will do whatever it takes to be on your team!
