I started playing volleyball for fun in the yard with my sister and mom. When I finally got to play on a court it was like my world had changed, and that's when I knew I wanted to play as long as I could. I used to be an outside hitter and didn't like when my middle school coach told me to try and play back row more. But when I finally got a dig that's when I knew I wanted to be a libero. There was just something about having everyone watch me dig a ball, it gave me butterflies. It would always make me leave the court and go home with a big smile even if we didn't win, because I knew my coach was proud, my friends, and my parents.
