Hello Coach! My name is Morgan Strzok, a 6'0", 140 pound college sophomore. I have played volleyball for 8 years, along with 4 years of club experience (one year with the top club in Wisconsin, The Milwaukee Sting). I played junior varsity my freshman year of high school. I was a varsity starter since my sophomore year, earning All-Conference Honorable Mention and many team awards as well. My junior year I received All-Conference Second Team, along with team awards such as Best Blocker, Best Attacker, Best Server, and Team Captain. My senior year I received First Team All-Conference, and was voted for team awards such as Best Attacker, Best Server, MVP, and second year Captain.
My freshman year at Kankakee CC (NJCAA DII) was extremely successful. Right off the bat I was a six rotation OH with a large presence on the floor. I played in 153 sets, was second on the team for digs (461), I had 309 kills and a .268 hitting percentage (second highest on the team). I also dished out 41 service aces and lead the team in "double-doubles" (with seven).
As my sophomore season is coming to a close, this season has been just as successful if not more successful as my freshman year. Approaching the playoffs, my team is nationally ranked in the top 20 for Division II, and has the #1 seed heading into regionals. Thus far in my sophomore season, I am nationally ranked top 20 in the nation for kills with 408, with a hitting percentage of .268%. I am also nationally ranked 15th for service aces and have 300 digs. After the regional seeding meeting, my coach Gary Sien informed me that I was voted All-Tournament team for our Early Bird Challenge Tournament. I was also informed that I was voted for All-Region First Team unanimously.
I am always looking for opportunities to be on the court all year round. I am always the first girl there on the court, and the last girl to leave. It is my ultimate dream to continue to play college volleyball by transferring from KCC because of how much dedication, love, and work I have put in to better myself over the years. I continuously talk on the floor, and am consistently a positive team leader on and off the court. I am open to all different types, sizes, and locations of schools. I desire to play on a team where I can make a difference, help my team win matches!
Thank you for your time, I hope your season is going well and that I will be hearing from you soon!
