~~My name is Kalie Lambert. I will be 16 years old and a Junior at the Tomah High School in Tomah Wisconsin. I live with my Mom, Dad and sister Jordyn who attends WWTC in Black River Falls, Wis and is starting her sophomore year. I have a dog, a teddy bear named Winnie whom we have had for eight. My family is very supportive of my love of volleyball and have done so much for me to advance my skills. It all started in 2011 when all my priorities suddenly changed. My life went from a normal 11 year olds life of school and friends to playing volleyball all the time. My first contact with the sport was the summer of 2011. A friend of mine played on a summer team and asked if I wanted to play. I hesitantly said yes, not knowing what would come of it. The feeling of the court was just amazing and I knew I did not want to let that go. That winter I decided to continue playing on the Tomah Therapy Seals club team. Throughout the season I worked efficiently and strived to better myself. Throughout the years I have played on a summer team, high school team, and club team. Last fall I played on a 17's club team from Tomah, WI named Club Synergy. I tried out for 3 club teams this year and was offered spots on all of them, I decided on Club Synergy as I was very interested in playing on a team where I would be playing with more experienced players. On the side of that I take private lessons to help me excel in the sport and stand out. During the summer, I participate in many camps. These include; UW-Lacrosse, UW-Green Bay, and UW-Madison. One of the many interesting things I find about volleyball, is the so many ways it can be taught and played. From the many teams and coaches I have played for, I've gotten a little bit of knowledge from everyone and bettered myself and advanced my skills greatly. I would be very interested in playing volleyball in college and am looking for a college where I can play but also earn my bachelors degree in sciences. I have always wanted to pursue Forensic Sciences. I have maintained a grade point average of 3.9 or above in my middle school/high school years and currently take two honors classes which keeps me challenged every day. I look forward to answering any questions you may have. Thank you.
