Myla Glaser '23 Recruiting Profile

Hi I’m Myla Glaser.   I’m a middle hitter from Waukesha WI, but have also played right side.  I am driven to success not only on the volleyball court but also academically. I am currently a year ahead in school subjects, and plan to put my knowledge to use for a future in the medical field. Since I was a kid, I’ve dreamed of life in college and the endless possibilities for my path in the future. What excites me is that I can attend college in pursuit of a higher education and accompany it with playing volleyball.  No matter who I play for,  I will be blessed considering I will be on a court and living out my childhood dream. I put my heart and soul in the things I want, and despite difficulties, I will never give up. I know what I want for my future- now my goal is to get there. Volleyball is a sport I live for. The feeling of adrenaline when you get a kill, or just knowing my team is my family is all I need. I think one of the most important things of this sport is being coachable.  As a player, I present this attribute by always seeking and taking input to improve my game. I am a team player, and no matter the hardships in a game, I strive to lift others up. I want a school that I can call my second family. A place where I grow and learn from coaches and teammates. Overall, enjoy what I do at a competitive level.
