Martina Blazevic '22 Recruiting Profile

Hi I’m Martina, my teammates know me as Marty. I am a 5’8’ attacker hoping to play water polo at the Division 1 or Division 2 level.  I have been swimming and playing water polo since I was 6 years old with the Burnaby Barracudas. Since, I was eight years old, I have been a part of Pacific Storm Water Polo Club, I have had the opportunity to learn from many coaches, who have helped me improve every day.  I have been lucky enough to  give back to the community by coaching swimming and water polo to younger children.  My current best 100 free is 1:01.2. Participating in both of these sports for so long has helped me become more driven and have the perseverance to overcome any obstacles. My goal is to attend a four year university, where I will be able to major in Psychology and later pursue law. I want to help people, who have experienced injustices and ensure they are treated equally.
