Mackenzie Plomp '21 Recruiting Profile

Hi, my name is Mackenzie. I'm sixteen years of age and have been in the pool since I was a toddler. I've been swimming competitively since I was 10, and I've broken numerous European records in many races (some which I still hold today). I lived in the Netherlands for 4 years, where I won MVP, and was one of the fastest swimmers in Europe. 

When my family and I moved back to Canada, I joined the Capital Wave water polo club.  There, I helped my team get second in Canada at nationals. I'm a hard worker, and a great team player. I can also easily adapt to new environments, such as new plays, players, etc. I also know how to balance my academics and extra curricular activities. Currently, I am part of the High Performance Academy in my water polo club, and am at a sports school. Even if I miss 4 classes a week to train, I know how to keep my grades up, and my performance as an athlete.
