My name is Ruby Massin, I live in a small town named Petersburg, Alaska. I have been wrestling since I was 5. My dad was the coach of wrestling and still is which is why this sport is so important to me. I’m very hard working and I never give up. My dad always tells me that he doesn‘t want this sport to die and also that girls shouldn’t wrestle so I want to show him and everyone that girls can wrestle also and that hopefully this sport won‘t die. I have lots of adults come up to me at times and they say they talk about me to their younger daughters and they say that I inspire them, which is what I love to hear. I’m here to fulfill my dreams and to inspire younger people to not let this spot die.
