I was introduced to wrestling in the eighth grade and to this day continue to work hard to be the best in the room. I am very dedicated and train hard to develop new skills and learn better techniques. I went from being a 184 lb rookie my freshman year (jv) to a 155 lb Hawaii state placer (4th) my sophomore year (varsity), and after moving to California, top 12 in the state at 160 lbs my junior year (varsity).
Academic wise I have applied the same efforts in wrestling to my studies. I never settle for anything but my best and strive to have good grades. Despite the long nights and early mornings of practices and tournaments I make sure I manage my time wisely and study for all my classes.
I have always pushed myself despite setbacks in life to always do my best. No matter the task, opponent, or challenge life has to offer.
