I started wrestling three years ago, and I know it’s not a lot compared to other women who have wrestled in this sport longer than I have, but my dreams and goals are farther than the sky. One of the biggest goals I have for myself is to win the World Title, and not just once. I have the motivation and the work ethic to push myself and to reach my goal every day by 1%. I am a studious athlete keeping my grades up, as well as taking on challenges to go into more testing classes. I use my work ethic both in wrestling and in life. Even though sometimes I don’t place where I would like, I am able to see the progress I have achieved even though it hasn’t come over night. In 2018, at Fargo, I competed in both Cadets and Juniors; I placed 2nd in Cadets, but did not in Juniors. In 2019, I was not only able to make the national team for Cadets at Fargo, but as well as take 3rd in Juniors. The amount of work that has been put into 2018, with work and lessons that I have learned, and the support given from my coaches, friends, and family was put into 2019. Not only do I have the determination, but the character I show most than others is respect, whether I am on or off the mats.
