Personal Statement

My name is Julianne Moccia and I am currently a junior at The John Carroll School in Bel Air, MD.  I will be graduating to 2021 and am interested in wrestling in college.  I have a general interest in science and math, but have not decided on a career path at this time.  I have been wrestling since 6th grade/12 years old and train and compete year round. I have always pushed myself to wrestle at the most competitive tournaments across the US.  I have competed at Girls Folkstyle Nationals (Oklahoma City, OK), UWW Women's Nationals (Irving, TX), Gotham City International Tournament (NYC,NY), and 16U and Junior Nationals(Fargo, ND), as well as others. Below I have provided some of my academic and wrestling accolades.  The matches listed below have video links attached to them.

Academic:

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
