My name is Kristi Raue and I am a junior next year at Tekamah Herman high school. I have been wrestling for nine years now and very passionate about the sport. I was a part of the Bad Bandits team at The Supreme Showdown in Kansas while getting 3rd as a dual team. I also got 1st at NEUSAW state my 7th grade year. I was apart of the NEUSAW national red dual team placing 6th my 7th grade year. My 8th grade year I went out to Colorado and wrestled at the Conflict for Charity placing 2nd as a dual team with Nebraska Wrestling Academy. Duals in Kearney, NE were held and I was on a team filled with girls from around the state alongside some Kansas girls placing 3rd. I got 4th at state my 8th grade year. I got 1st at Girls Folkstyle Nationals in 2022. My freshman year I placed 1st at Mayhem at Midland in Fremont, NE during the summer. I made it to state my freshman year, but unfortunately due to injury went 0-2. The beginning of my sophomore year I was out of 2 meets due to hip and knee injuries, but came back getting 1st at my first meet of the year. Won multiple meets following that up until districts. I got 4th at districts and went 1-2 at state.I have multiple summer camps I am signed up for coming up focusing on cleaning up my sweep single, switch, and chicken wings, while also focusing on other moves to clean up before I attend Disney Duals June 20-26. I am a very dedicated student-athlete, focusing hard on school work while also focusing on the mat. I am an amazing leader on and off the mat, everything that does not involve wrestling stays out of the practice room and I like to keep the drama to zero so we can focus and listen to our coaches in the room. Other than wanting to wrestle in college, I am also looking into playing at the collegiate level for volleyball. I am wanting to major in Sports Media/Journalism, or Physical Therapy then proceed to go into Pediatric P.T.
