Wrestling is a sport that I am extremely passionate about. I was the team captain for the whole team(57 athlete). I placed 2nd at districts and was able to go to regionals For the second year. I also had the amazing opportunity of going with my teammate as she competed at state. My goal for the rest of my high school career, and through my college years is to pursue my passion and love for wrestling. I am a very hard worker, and truly believe that putting time and effort into something you are passionate about leads to great achievements. What makes me different than others is my drive, passion, and gratitude. I not only am passionate about my own success within wrestling, but my teammates success as well. A team is a family. I firmly believe that we are to support, encourage, and train together. Academics is just as important as sportsmanship. in order to succeed in wrestling, I strongly feel that it’s just as important to succeed academically. They go hand in hand to making a successful life.
