Hello Coaches,
My Name is Brianna Staebler. I am currently a 2nd semester freshman at Whitewater High School, in Whitewater, WI. My birth year is 2003. I am currently a 1st year cadet with USA Wrestling although I also compete at the junior level when available.
My #1 goal is to graduate from my college of choice with honors and debt free in the process using women’s wrestling to get there. I am currently researching my degree options but I am strongly looking at criminal justice, business, communications, and potentially a law degree. Obviously, these choices can possibly change and as I do my career research I am certain that these will narrow in focus.
I believe I am an excellent candidate for your program because I am a top student (4th in class & 3.875 gpa), I am a very hard worker and strive to put in my best effort at all times. I am a fierce competitor, never give up on a match, and absolutely hate to be pinned. I am easily coachable and have many coaches that I have worked with over the past 5 years that can confirm this. I am a 3 time schoolgirl state champion, 2 time national Folkstyle champion, 2nd place all-American at school girl in freestyle, 2nd place Girls HS State in WI @ 180#, and 4th place all-American in Folkstyle at the 2018 USMC Folkstyle nationals at 180#. Although I just missed the podium at 180# at the juniors (as a freshman), I had a decent outing at that tournament as well beating the #1 seed and pinning my second match until losing in the qtr finals. I have aspirations to become a cadet national champion followed by junior national champion with a minimum of all-American level performances during each year of my four high school years. I know it will not be easy, but I am dedicated and determined to reach my goals.
My Collegiate goals will be to join a program that will help me to continue to greatly improve my skills and help me to achieve my goals of national championships at the collegiate level and the senior circuit following. I know this will not be easy, if it were easy, everyone could do it. I believe that with the proper coaching along with my serious work ethic that I will be able to achieve great things in my college career.
I look forward to learning more about your program and how you feel I might be able to contribute to a winning team.
Sincerely,
Brianna Staebler
