When I started wrestling as a kid, I wrestled because it was fun. In middle school and most of my high school years, I wrestled because I wanted the accolades. This year, my senior year of high school, my focus has changed. I don't just want to win, I want to dominate. I want the hard matches. I want to face the best in my division. I realized that I enjoy the grind. I want the war, the battle. Most of all, I realized that I am a wrestler first and everything else second. Wrestling is in my blood. It is who I am. I know that whatever happens now, I will always be part of this sport and the sport will forever be part of me.
Of course, I also would like to excel academically. I want to get the best possible grades in college so I can maximize my chances of getting into a great law school.
I am willing to go through the toughest workouts and study sessions, push myself beyond any physical and mental barriers to reach my goals. I am an evolving wrestler, always looking to improve. As such, I am very coachable and I am driven to succeed.
I would love to wrestle in college and I am excited about my future.
