I have a goal to attend college, and wrestle for that college. Obtaining my higher education is just as important as wrestling to me. Each six minutes I am in the circle on the mat I grow, and I realize that growth is developed from my educational goals as well. Preparing for life, is a combination of my wrestling goals and my education goals. There may not be a massive difference about me and other wrestlers, but I think I am noticeably different. Why? I think I have four traits that make me a wrestler and a person who is a contributor and not just a consumer. My WORK ETHIC, I have always strived to not just GIVE what is expected, but to give what is exceptional. My ATTITUDE, I believe in myself, but with humility and respect. Even more importantly I believe in encouraging my team mates...always! I am a CREATIVE THINKER. I am constantly learning from those around me and creating a vision of my success both on and off the mat. My ability to FACE FEAR. I have learned fear can be a motivator, as long as I face it... and not run from it. Taking responsibility to meet my fear..and conquer it. I know to give my best, it has to be, on the mat, in the classroom and in my everyday life, reflecting who I am... with pride and humility.
