Personal Statement

I am a hardworking person not only on the mat but also in the classroom. I am not afraid to take on a challenge that will push me to my limits mentally and physically. I keep a 3.9 GPA or higher and I am an A and B student. I am a 3 time state placer (5th as a freshman, 4th as a sophomore and 2nd as a junior) in the state of Colorado. Taking 2th in state as a junior was not my goal for the year but to win a state championship for my school. Ever since then I have been working harder and longer in not only the wrestling room but also in the classroom and in the weight room. My collegiate goals is to go to a college where I fit in on the wrestling team as a member of the roster and into the education of the school. I am mostly interested in a Division 1 or 2 school but a Division 3 and NAIA is questionable for me.
