Personal Statement

My name is Hunter Planansky and I am a Freshman on the Varsity wrestling team at Hayden High School in Hayden, CO.  The next three years of my life are geared toward improving my mental and physical attributes in order to earn my degree in Architectural Engineering while competing at the college level in wrestling.  I believe that I am dedicated to the sport of wrestling.  I am a hard worker and always willing to learn and improve my technique.  I have been wrestling since age 3 and have learned how to win with confidence while being humble.  I have also learned to lose with grace while learning from my experience both on the mat and in the classroom.
