Darius Mynar '19 Recruiting Profile

I am a results oriented, dedicated student athlete with demonstrated success in wrestling, academics, athletics and everything I set out to do in life.  My passion for the sport of wrestling has helped me excel as a student, athlete and leader.  As a sophomore, I was elected captain of my wrestling team and awarded “Most Outstanding Player-Wrestler”, from my school.  I'm very easy to coach, eager to learn new techniques and always looking to improve myself on and off the mat.

My wrestling background includes free style, Greco and Folk, while also successfully performing in other areas in athletics, such as weight lifting, 3 years of varsity football, club soccer and outrigger canoe paddling.   

Growing up in Hawaii and attending Kamehameha Schools Maui has taught me the importance of being confident, yet humble, to respect your kumu(teachers/coaches) and elders, making a positive difference in my community and always do what's right.  If you decide to make me a team member, I guarantee you will get an honest, hardworking athlete and student that you will be proud to call "my wrestler".
