My name is Hakeem Banks. I'm a senior at Dixon High School. I compete in all three styles of wrestling and strength train all year round. The highlight of my past two wrestling seasons for me has been competing at the Greco-Roman national championships in Fargo, North Dakota. At the Team Illinois National prep camp I learned how important it is to create connections with new people, and that's why I believe that the jump from high school to college is something achievable for me. Working hard and discipline have always been my focus, regardless of the circumstances. I put just as much work into my studies as I do with the sport of wrestling and make sure that my best is given.
