I enjoy wrestling because it keeps me balanced. I love to see results and to challenge myself. I strive to get better each season, and reflect on what I have learned in the past. Most importantly, I wrestle because it keeps me on my toes in the classroom. Just like my coach always says, “if you can’t do good in the classroom- why should I let you wrestle?” Wrestling has taught me that school comes first before friends and sports. I know the role of leadership and how vital it is for a successful team. I also know how communication and being supportive can strengthen the bond of a group.
