2024 HighlightsPersonal Statement
My passion has always been sports since I was very little. I began attending the Mixed Martial Arts Academy in the first grade, and it has helped me develop my attention span, strength of character, work ethic, and ability to continuously push myself to achieve new goals. Although it required a great deal of dedication and hard work, I am grateful that it helped to build my personality and character.
I took part in football, lacrosse, and wrestling throughout high school. My primary sport is wrestling, and I adore how it impacts my daily life and beyond the mat. It helped me develop my mental toughness, self-worth, independence, self-reliance, and discipline. Healthy eating and physical fitness are some benefits of wrestling. I train year-round to increase my strength, sharpen my skills, and maintain my professionalism because I want to be among the top wrestlers.
Being an athlete who wrestles, I enjoy representing my school in competitions, and I hope to play for a college in the future. Gaining respect from other institutions and a positive reputation for my school are my objectives. I feel a strong sense of kinship from being a high school athlete, which is an honor and privilege.
Despite my busy schedule at the gym and practices, I work hard in my studies to maintain a high GPA and good grades. This year, I'm enrolled in four additional AP subjects, including Honors Math, and I'm involved in Student Council, Pep Club, and Varsity Club. I intend to run for vice president of the school the next academic year. I believe that the secret to future success in college and your job is to excel in academics and athletics.
