Dominic Iannantone '20 Recruiting Profile

Making the Varsity team my sophomore year at a competitive 3A wresting program like Sandburg has been one of the highlights and my goal in my high school career. It is an honor to wrestle for Sandburg their wrestling tradition and coaching here is outstanding and one of the best in the state. I am a loyal and fierce competitor for my team and for myself. I wrestled 106 but wrestled 113 at times last year when my team needed me too.  It was there in the 113 matches that I grew as a wrestler and team mate. There are always hurdles and obstacles in wrestling and life and as a wrestler I have learned that no matter what they are you get up jump over them and move forward.  I have set my goals for my junior year and I have worked hard in the gym and on the mat to prepare physically and mentally. I am expecting great things from myself, team, and classroom this year!

I know I can compete at a college level wresting and am looking for a program that is good fit for me on the mat and academically.  My college visions look like this, hard work on and off the mat to successfully prepare myself for life after college.
