I started wrestling my freshmen year which was the same year our school started the program. I wasn't sure at first but after my first match I knew that this was the sport for me. I figured out that this is the sport I wanted to have a future in and so I started putting in a lot of hard work which I always aspire to do. Sadly I got injured my sophomore year and didn't wrestle all year, but even with the injury my love for wrestling grew through watching videos of it and going to all practices and matches as a helping hand to my coaches. I got released right after the season and I was ready to go. I quickly had as much mat time as possible by traveling all around the states to get practices in and tournaments and I even picked up some medals through it all which helped me know the hard work was worth it. I know I will keep working as hard as I can and hope to go to state and place these next 2 years I have. So if you give me a chance I can work to help your program which will help me be the best athlete I can be and I also will keep my grades high to match with being just as hard of a worker in the classroom as the mat.
