What does college mean to me? First and foremost, college will allow me to obtain a higher level of education, preparing me for the future as a well-rounded productive citizen. Beyond the opportunity of furthering my education, college will provide me with an avenue to continue my passion for athletics. I am currently a three-sport athlete, competing in football, wrestling, and track. While I have not decided which sport I would like to continue at a higher level, I feel that at this time all three sports are of equal importance in developing my athletic abilities and building character. I pour relentless effort into my training and hold high expectations for myself. I also hold myself accountable to my coaches and teammates. My team is my family, and I can be counted on to show courage and leadership at all times. I understand the challenges and sacrifices that being a student-athlete present, and I wouldn't have it any other way.
